Note: Crafting words begins with the labels of the site map below, as you would expect to see the semantics in the site itself. Think before slapping anything down, and by all means comment if an existing label seems wrong or unjustified.

Destry 2008/08/27 08:05 – I think “Features list” should simply be “Features” when semantics are placed to actual site. Our target audience (indeed most English-speaking humans) will know the significance of the single word as a page/section header.

Destry 2008/08/27 10:14 – Since we're making changes, why not up the ante from screenshots to actual mini demos (video, flash, even slideshows of stills, whatever), which is pretty common and a nice touch. This is why I went with “Demos” and perhaps it gives someone else in the community something interesting to work on.

zero The integrated menu is long. Could Features become part of the txp.com local menu? At some future date .org will need including in the integrated menu, probably as resources or plugins, so the integrated menu will become even longer.
Re demos, I don't think there is any working video available and response to requests for videos on the forum was slow, so static images makes sense to me. (I agree re the opening pitch, btw) — zero Like Features, Download is only one page so I've moved it out of integrated menu. I think it should be a button on all integrated sites. What do you think?

  • Added Participate page. Partly to put Donate and Contributors, but also if in integrated menu, it may encourage more volunteering. What do you think?
  • Participate now changed to Assist - shorter, simpler and just as accurate
